Inc. magazine revealed its 2022 Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at independent American companies that have achieved spectacular growth.
What’s more is that these companies not only survived a tumultuous global pandemic, they’ve thrived. With resilience, spirit, grit, and perseverance, this year’s honorees have successfully and admirably built their businesses — and many on a global scale.
Among those recognized on the list, some of ForceBrands’ industry friends, partners, and collaborators include HighKey, MUD/WTR, Hero Cosmetics, Tractor Beverage Co., Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, Koia, Banza, Sweet Loren’s, Wana Brands, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Yasso, No Cow,
From making non-alcoholic beer cool (we see you, Athletic Brewing Company), to baking up inclusivity (Partake Foods), these companies are as inspiring as they are innovative.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” Scott Omelianuk, Inc.’s Editor-in-Chief, said. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
Those featured on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. Companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018, to qualify. In addition, they must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places, according to Inc.
